ERIC H. CLINE (n. 1960) preda istorie antica si arheologie la George Washington University, unde este director al Capitol Archaeological Institute. Este unul dintre cei mai reputati specialisti ai Orientului Apropiat antic, Doctor honoris causa al Muhlenberg College, cercetator Fulbright si Getty si membru al mai multor asociatii internationale de profil, precum American Historical Association, American Oriental Society sau Archaeological Institute of America.
