Dana Anca Cehan

Is a Professor of English Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She has published extensively on English semantics, discourse analysis, pragmatics and TEFL, and is the author of The Semantic Field of the English Motion Verbs (2000), Perspectives on EFL Classroom Discourse (2002), English Triangle (2014), Pedagogical Lexicography and Corpus Linguistics (2016) and of two coursebooks in English teaching methodology. She also co-authored two grammar books, fourteen coursebooks for the study of English, a coursebook in English teaching methodology and a terminological dictionary for Civil Engineering and Architecture. She currently teaches at the Doctoral School of Philological Studies at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi.
